WWE NXT Call-Ups 2024: Who's Next for Raw & SmackDown? (Joe Hendry, Jacy Jayne, Sol Ruca & More!) (2026)

The WWE landscape is ever-shifting, and with NXT Stand & Deliver in the rearview mirror, it's time to speculate on the next wave of call-ups to the main roster. The developmental brand has been a launchpad for many stars, but who will be the next to make the leap? Let's dive into the potential candidates and explore the possibilities, with a heavy dose of personal commentary and analysis.

Joe Hendry: The Rising Star

Joe Hendry has been a rising star in NXT, and his journey thus far has been nothing short of impressive. From his first official exposure to WWE audiences in 2024 to winning the NXT Championship, Hendry has proven his mettle. His biggest break came when he won a ladder match to become the NXT Champion, a title he held for 60 days. But what does the future hold for him? In my opinion, Hendry could be a mainstay in the US or Intercontinental Title picture on the main roster. While he may not become a World or WWE Champion, his charisma and in-ring skills could make him a valuable asset on Raw or Smackdown. I'd love to see him take on a role similar to Elias, the guitar-playing vagabond who found success in mid-card feuds.

Jacy Jayne: The Rockstar

Jacy Jayne, affectionately referred to as the Rockstar by Booker T, has accomplished everything there is to accomplish in NXT. From her time in Mandy Rose's Toxic Attraction stable to becoming the de facto leader of the Fatal Influence, Jayne has proven her mettle. She has also spent considerable time as the NXT Women's Champion, a title she won twice. But is it time for her to graduate to the main roster? In my opinion, Jayne could fill a role similar to Carmella on the main roster. While she may not rack up many World Title runs, she could potentially follow in Carmella's footsteps and become a champ via Money in the Bank at some point.

Ricky Saints: The Charismatic Veteran

Ricky Saints is a 14-year veteran of the squared circle, and his time in NXT has been nothing short of impressive. He has already become a former NXT North American Champion and NXT Champion, and his main event appearance at NXT's biggest show of the year speaks volumes. Saints has a similar type of charisma to John Morrison, but may have a similar ceiling. While he may not reach the main event level on Raw or Smackdown, he could fit a Morrison-type role in the mid-card. I'd love to see him continue to work with some of NXT's younger stars, but a move to the main roster wouldn't be surprising.

Sol Ruca: The Acrobatic Surfer Girl

Sol Ruca has been captivating WWE audiences since her debut in 2022 with her unbelievable athleticism and awe-inspiring finishing moves. Despite spending much of the last two years in a partnership with Zaria, Ruca has put together an impressive singles resume and has racked up reigns as both the North American Champion and Women's Speed Champion. But is she ready for the main roster? In my opinion, Ruca could be a surprise call-up, potentially following in Charlotte Flair's footsteps. While she may not have the benefit of the Flair name, her quick rise in the business and growth curve are similar to Charlotte's. I'd love to see her take on a role similar to Charlotte, but with her own unique style and charisma.

Ethan Page: The Versatile Star

Ethan Page has consistently found himself in high-profile spots on NXT programming since his surprise debut. He has had his fair share of comedic moments, but is also believable as a sadistic villain. Page has proven over the last two years that he can fit into a variety of roles on a wrestling program. I'd love to see him continue to work with Tony D'Angelo, but a move to the main roster wouldn't be surprising. In my opinion, Page could easily fill a role similar to The Miz on the main roster, and I'd even consider teaming them up as a heel tag team.

Other Candidates: Hank & Tank, Josh Briggs, and Blake Monroe

While there are many other candidates, Hank & Tank, Josh Briggs, and Blake Monroe are three stars who could be on the cusp of a call-up. The Belly Boys could bring a similar energy to the tag divisions on Raw or Smackdown, while Briggs and Monroe could fill role-player roles on the main roster. In my opinion, these stars have the tools to succeed on the main roster, even if they may not reach the same level of success as some of their NXT counterparts.

In conclusion, the WWE landscape is ever-shifting, and with NXT Stand & Deliver in the rearview mirror, it's time to speculate on the next wave of call-ups to the main roster. While there are many candidates, the stars mentioned above are the ones who stand out to me. I'd love to see them continue to shine on the main roster, but only time will tell if they will make the leap. What do you think, Cagesiders? Who are you most excited to see make the jump to the main roster?
